This site was designed and built end-to-end by Claude Fable 5 — concept, copy, palette, every transition, and the code — then pushed through three logged critique passes before shipping. Here's the honest bill of materials.
Everything that moves except three clips: the slab-assembly title sequence, the sticky-deck scroll engine where every scene cut is a different hand-rolled film transition (wipe, iris, letterbox, barn doors, slam with overshoot), the SMPTE timecode chrome, the split-flap departures board, the viewfinder cursor with its REC dot, and all typography and layout. No frameworks, no animation libraries, no templates — plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, about 44 KB of code.
The three "RECENT FRAMES" reel clips are AI video, generated with Higgsfield (Kling 3.0 Turbo, text-to-video, 5s @ 720p), art-directed to match the site's exact palette: a vermilion paint slab folding on bone, black ink blooming on klein blue, and cab-yellow slabs snapping in sequence. They were compressed with ffmpeg to 228–516 KB each and are the only media files on the site.
Write a brief that pins palette, type, one signature idea, and a forbidden list. Generate only the media that earns its place; build the rest. Screenshot constantly and actually look. Three passes, logged. Ship static files. The full methodology — including the 15-site showcase and 8-site real-estate portfolio this belongs to — is documented at fable-fifteen.netlify.app/guide.
